Cookie Notice

Last updated: 24 June 2026

Cookies are small text files that may be placed on your device when you interact with online services. They help a service remember information about your visit and interactions. This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, and web beacons) that Hirebase uses, why we use them, and how you can manage them. We use the word “cookies” to refer to cookies and these similar technologies.

Hirebase cares about your privacy and about being transparent. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum: a small number of first-party cookies that are needed to sign you in and run the product, plus a limited set of third-party cookies for analytics, payments, and security.

How we use cookies

We group the cookies we use into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the platform to function and to keep you signed in. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
  • Functional: remember choices you make (for example, referral attribution) to improve your experience.
  • Analytics: help us understand how the product is used so we can improve it, including session replay with content masking.
  • Payments: support secure checkout and fraud prevention.
  • Security: protect the platform from abuse.

We also use your browser’s local storage for some settings and product state; that information stays in your browser and is not, by itself, a cookie.

First-party cookies (set by Hirebase)

These are set directly by Hirebase to operate the service.
